What is OEKO-TEX® Standard 100? The OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certificate is a global, independent, unified system testing and certification of materials, semi-finished products and textile products at all levels of their production. What is the purpose of product certification? Providing consumers with reliable and independent product information . Materials awarded this quality mark are free from harmful substances at concentrations that negatively impact human health. Hazardous products must be additionally marked in accordance with the law, which are tested in accordance with the criteria of STANDARD 100. What harmful substances are OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified textiles tested for? Testing includes the presence of banned azo dyes, carcinogenic and allergy-causing softeners, pesticides used in the cultivation of natural fibers from which textiles are made, and many other harmful chemicals that are not yet regulated.
