🌸 Naturally beautiful – what are the differences between the fabrics used in Piapimo products?

In the world of baby products, choosing fabric isn't a detail—it's fundamental. It's what touches a baby's skin, wraps them up at sleep, protects them in their first days of life, and accompanies them in their daily rituals. That's why at Piapimo, we only use materials that are not only beautiful but above all safe, soft, and durable .

1. Cotton satin – softness and durability in one

The cotton sateen used in our sleeping bags and bedding is a premium material. Smooth, breathable, and durable. Thanks to its special weave, it doesn't irritate skin and stands up to repeated washing. Ideal for contact with newborn skin.

2. Cotton jersey knit fabric – soft as a mother's touch

Hats, nursing pillow covers, sleeping pillow covers, and stroller sheets are made from cotton jersey with added Lycra. This fabric works with the baby – it stretches, doesn't constrict, and allows the skin to breathe. Importantly, it retains its shape and maintains its quality for a long time.

3. Bouclé and velvet – softness that pleases the senses

Our cosmetic bags, cases, and some accessories are made from bouclé, velvet, and soft denim. These fabrics add charm and pleasure to everyday use. For mothers who value aesthetics and the sensory joy of touching soft surfaces.

4. Cotton velvet - soft, smooth, extremely pleasant

Cotton velvet is produced and dyed in Poland according to the highest quality standards. It is created in accordance with our color palette to create a soothing home environment. The softness of velvet is indescribable. It is used to create covers for our nursing pillows and newborn cocoons.

5. Hypoallergenic filling – safe even for sensitive skin

All our sleeping bags are filled with a lightweight, hypoallergenic filling that doesn't clump and provides your baby with proper thermoregulation. Peaceful sleep and comfort – without compromise.

6. OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certificate – confirmed quality

Most of our fabrics are Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 Class I certified – the highest level of safety, intended for babies. This means the materials are free from harmful substances and completely skin-friendly.

🧵 Why does all this matter?

Because a small difference in fabric can mean a huge difference in comfort —for both baby and parent. And for us, it's crucial that every touch of Piapimo products feels like a touch of care and love.
